HITCHING: a short exercise in hyphenated adjectives

He is a contemporary, hippy hobo,
freshly haggle-toothed from an L.A. hospital,
with his back-packed woman following closely
behind his vision of brass-bedded suburban ladies.
As they wait on the highway in front of the coffee shop,
he watches waitresses with fat rumps.
