Bad feng shui in my new chair,
not the chair but its position,
poised inches from the two steps
between the dining and living rooms
when I roll it to the table to write,
worse than having your back to the door
your back toward the stairs,
so that I am uncertain
exactly where they are,
exactly where
I am.
