2007/chimes

Bamboo wind chime,
and the one with quartz
doves we bought in Rosarito.
Several birds have fallen off
so that it hangs crooked.
But now and then it still chimes,
a cheerful tinkle
that lightens the morning,
it’s inspiration in nature
answering back,
inspired.
