You do not
want to discuss
how I should
bequeath my
few belongings.
You want
my art &
poems.
My daughter
the chairs
you both hate.
Somewhere
I have a list,
an inventory
of possessions –

Of course, we belong
to our things
more than they
belong to us.
Living our life
to serve them.
Perhaps I imagine
if I could tag them
all for someone
else, I could let
them go,
and enjoy
buoyancy
now.
