2001/fengshui

The cat arranges himself
in the corner,
as though he were porcelain.
We both make note of it.
It is his new way of waiting,
instead of facing the door
as a wordless species might,
which he is not.
He is definitely not dumb.
His corner posture has much
better feng shui,
more befitting his royal class
as ruler of the house.
