2009/hyphen

This morning I don’t have time
for a hyphen,
I labor in thought over the word
because
and consider starting it on a new line.
The thought takes more time
than the hyphen, of course.
That’s the folly of thinking –
how useless it often is.
It’s April Fool’s Day,
and I am one.
