2007/lastday

The last day of June,
the sun breaks through at 8:00 a.m.,
Each day now it will be earlier
and earlier. Warmer and warmer.
I’ll not be able to sit here
and write past 6:30.
In summer I have little to say
that isn’t complaint,
ones I’ve already heard.
Best to remain silent.
